Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Ethics, Business, Law, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ethics and compliance roles, preferably with a focus on emerging technologies or AI.
- Sound knowledge of ethical frameworks, regulations, and industry standards related to AI ethics and compliance.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA, and their implications for AI systems.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess and address ethical implications and compliance issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and communicate ethical guidelines.
- Ability to develop and deliver training programs on ethics and compliance topics.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage compliance audits, investigations, and reporting.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, their capabilities, and potential ethical challenges.
- Strong commitment to ethical conduct and the responsible use of AI technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive ethics and compliance program specific to AI technology.
- Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to AI ethics and compliance.
- Assess and analyze the ethical implications of AI systems, including potential biases, discrimination, and privacy concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, technology, and data privacy departments, to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues related to AI systems.
- Develop and deliver training programs and materials to educate employees on ethical considerations and compliance requirements.
- Establish clear guidelines and policies for the collection, usage, and protection of data in AI applications, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Implement mechanisms for employees and stakeholders to report ethical concerns or violations confidentially and without fear of retaliation.
- Investigate reported ethical violations and develop appropriate remedial actions or disciplinary measures as necessary.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the ethics and compliance program, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
