Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Computer Science, Law, or a related field.
- Proven experience working in policy analysis, preferably in the field of AI governance or emerging technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of AI technology, its applications, and associated ethical considerations.
- Familiarity with national and international AI policies, regulations, and frameworks.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into concise and actionable policy recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of national and international AI policies, regulations, and frameworks.
- Identify gaps and assess the effectiveness of current AI governance practices.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technology and its societal implications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the technical aspects of AI systems and their potential impacts.
- Evaluate the ethical considerations surrounding AI technology, including fairness, transparency, accountability, and privacy.
- Propose policy recommendations and guidelines to address identified gaps and promote responsible AI development and utilization.
- Assist in the development and implementation of AI policy initiatives, working closely with stakeholders, policymakers, and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct impact assessments to evaluate the potential consequences of proposed policies and regulatory changes.
- Monitor and track the evolving landscape of AI regulations and standards globally.
- Communicate policy recommendations, research findings, and regulatory developments to internal and external stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and policy briefs.
